DJ: Hi my name's Lucija, your listening radio Star. Today are special guest is Selena Gomez. She agreed to do an interview with us. Hi Selena.
SG: Hi I'm so happy to be here.

SG: Well... i was born in Grand Prairie in Texas. My mother is a former stage actress, her name's Amanda Dawn  Teefey and my fathers name's Ricardo Joel Gomez. I got my first role in 2002, when I was selected to appear on the children's television series Barney and Friends as character Gianna.
DJ: Why did your parents name you Selena?
SG: I was named after Tejano singer Selena, who died almost three years after I was born.
DJ: What about your singing carrer?
SG: At first I've been working on my debut album and later I had formed a band known as Selena Gomez & the Scene. In August 2009, we released our debut studio album Kiss & Tell. My second studio album is called, A Year Without Rain. Now I'm preforming as a solo singer. My latest studio album is called Stars dance.
DJ: You are also doing great charity work. What can you tell us about that?
SG: I was named spokesperson for UNICEF second year in a row. I raised over $700,000 for the charity in 2008, and I was hoping to raise 1 million dollars in year 2009.
DJ: Has your life changed when you became a celebrity?
SG: Ou yes it did. People recognized me on street and asked for my autograph. Paparazzis started to follow me and take my photos, I don't like that. Fame has also good sides and one of them is meeting my fans.
DJ: What about your relationship with Justin Bieber?
SG: We were dating for 2 years and paparazzis kept photographing us, the magazines were full of ridiculous stories. That's the bad side of fame. We broke up and now I'm single.
DJ: Your fans are called SELENATORS, do you have a special thought for them?
SG: Yes of course. You should be yourself, listen to your heart and love your family, because they will always be there for you.
DJ: Thank you for the interview and those great thoughts!
